Payment Protection

We offer payment protection to all our eligible members in the form of Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance. This is underwritten by American National Insurance Company.

Credit Life Insurance pays the outstanding balance on your loan if you die before the loan is paid off and is available to single and joint borrowers. Credit Disability Insurance is available for single borrowers and provides benefits during periods of incapacitation caused by sickness or injury.

Protecting yourself and your family from untimely death or disability is certainly prudent, especially since the premium can be included in your loan payment. Payment Protection offers the peace of mind that comes from knowing your financial obligations will be met even though death or disability prevents you from meeting your obligations.

Payment Protection Credit Disability has a 15-day period to activate and may require making loan payments until protection is confirmed by the borrower’s physician and approved by Aegon Company.
